Designed for use on 1999-2006 4.8L, 5.3L, 6.0L throttle by wire engines with 4L60E-4L85E or manual trans. 1999-2002 engines require a 2003-2006 TBW throttle body. Engine codes supported are LR4, LM7, LM4, LQ4 and LQ9. Will support flex fuel and non flex fuel engines. Flex fuel engines will require inline fuel composition sensor in order to run E85 fuel. Includes 10 circuit weatherproof fuse block & bracket and GM color coded wires with labels. Standard length harness allows four feet from the back of the intake manifold to where the fuse block and ECM mount. Perfect for mounting these components under the dash or in the glove box. Fuse block protects the following circuits: Brake and Cruise Switch, Dual 40 amp Ignition Relays, ECM (IGN), ECM B+, Fuel Injectors, Fuel Pump, Heated O2 Sensors, Ignition Coils, Mass Airflow and Fuel, Compensation Sensor, Throttle Actuator Control Module, Transmission and Park Neutral Position Switch, 20 Amp Cooling Fan Relay, 20 Amp Fuel Pump Relay. Includes connections for: A/C Request, Accelerator Pedal Position Sensor, Alternator, Brake Switch, Cam Position Sensor, Cooling Fans, Crank Position Sensor, Cruise Control ,Data Link Connector, Driver/Pass Front O2 Sensors, ECM, Engine Coolant Temperature, Fuel Compensation Sensor, Fuel Pump, Fuel Pump Test , Grounds, Ignition Coils, Ignition Switch Signal, Injectors - Gas & Flex Fuel Sub-Harness, Input Speed Sensor, Knock Sensors, Malfunction Indicator Lamp, MAP Sensor, Mass Airflow / Intake Air Temperature Sensor, Output Speed Sensor, Park/Neutral Switch, Reverse Lights, Starter, Starter Relay Activation, Tachometer, Throttle Actuator Control Module, Throttle Actuator Control Module to Accelerator Pedal Pigtail, Throttle Body, Transmission, VSS Output for Speedometer. PLEASE NOTE: This harness is standalone and is not intended to replace the OEM engine wiring. Standalone harnesses are intended to run the designated engine & transmission only, generally when swapped into another vehicle.
It's a lot more than circuits and wire! How often have you seen advertisements for wiring harnesses promising, 21-circuit kit for the low, low price of...? What do you get for that low price? 21 circuits and yards of colored wire? Is that all you need, and exactly what makes up a proper wiring harness, anyhow? Well, it's a lot more than just circuits and wire. A wiring harness is, first and foremost, engineering. At Painless, all of our harnesses are designed by real engineers using the latest in diagnostic equipment and AutoCAD to ensure consistency in manufacturing and an accurate and easy installation. Finally, and certainly not least, there's quality. You deserve the assurance that after installing a harness it's going to work: That when you turn on the headlights, they shine; That the blinkers blink and that the engine starts. At right you see a Painless fuel injection harness on our exclusive test board. Every single fuel injection harness, before it goes in the box, is mounted first on a test board like this. Each blue connector simulates a particular engine function. This test ensures that all connections are working properly, all pinouts are correct and there is continuity in all the wires. When you install a Painless harness, we GUARANTEE it is going to work. If you're looking for superior quality, engineering and craftsmanship, Painless is your only sensible choice. Painless has remained the leader in automotive wiring and electrical products for over seventeen years through engineering and innovation, not corner cutting and imitation.
